The Coefficient of Resistance of Copper Apparatus is used for conducting experiments that accurately measure the temperature coefficient of resistance for copper wire to gain valuable insights into the electrical properties of copper and its behavior at various temperatures.
The enameled copper wire is precisely wound onto a heat-resistant resin tube and connected to larger cables under an insulated handle. Use an accurate ohm meter to measure the room temperature resistance of approximately 20 ohms. The winding element is coated with a specific varnish, but its delicate wire composition makes it susceptible to damage.
The apparatus can withstand submersion in both ice water and near-boiling water, while accurately monitoring the resistance.
