Molecular sieves are a cornerstone of numerous industries, engineered to provide superior adsorption and dimensional stability, and to optimize moisture removal and purification. These sieves have an excellent capacity for removing water and other contaminants from both liquids and gases, assuring an impeccably pure and high caliber finished product.
Molecular Sieves are used to absorb water, for instance, to remove water from alcohol or other solvents which cannot be separated by distillation. These sieves are crystalline metal aluminosilicates having a three-dimensional interconnecting network consisting of silica and alumina tetrahedra. This material traps the water and does not dissolve. Simply place some of the sieves into your liquid, let it sit for a while, and then pour off or filter the liquid.
