The Motor Generator Set Belt Driven includes two equally-sized electric motors mounted on a small base and connected by a rubber belt. The motors can be run individually as a motor or DC generator, or together as motors with the ability to add or subtract power. This is ideal for experiments in motor and generator efficiency, power, torque, work, and losses. Connect to each motor with 4mm banana plugs.
With this Motor Generator Set, you can analyze the conversion of energy between electrical and mechanical forms, as well as vice versa. The motor has been designed with a sufficient size for optimal efficiency, and the windings have a significant number of turns which allows for optimal results with a lower running speed.
